Window Cleaner – Tools Day
Window cleaners can cost a lot and not all leave you with a streak free shine. Long time ago I had a summer job at a bed and breakfast and the host showed me how she cleaned the windows. I should add that she was one of those ladies who wanted her windows spotless. After all the beautiful view was one of her selling points. All she used ever on her windows and mirrors was a mixture of white vinegar and water. To make sure there was no fuzzy debris on the window she would clean it with old newspaper. It worked like magic, and I have used it ever since.
Let’s start with the basics of the window cleaner.
In a spray bottle combine:
- White vinegar
- Water
Just a little shake and this window and glass cleaner is ready to be used. You will be left with clean windows and a fresh smell in you home without the use of any chemical. Yay for an easy way to serve our mother earth.
